I'm working with a lot of L1 and B1/B2 visa holders locally in USA and they are paid in their home countries and given a debit card for living expenses while they are here. Very cheap resources and they don't show up on any payroll counts.

Hi, I am an immigrant in America.  This is a wonderful country with good hosts and a nice culture.  I do my best to respect local way of life.  Our small community does our best to enrich it.  However, with the introduction of H1B, i am starting to dislike my profession and the corporate workplace.  I have never been discriminated against by whites or blacks but now I feel persecuted by an over-population of Indians.  I feel like creativity is no longer rewarded in IT departments.  I feel like quality code is no longer appreciated.  This traits are what I admired americans the most.  Americans have walked the moon but I have never heard an american brag about this feat.  I have to hear a thousand times about how India is the best in just about every subject known to mankind.  They tell me right to my face that Indians are the most successful immigrants in America.  (This is not true, the Japanese Americans are most prosperous).  I firmly believe I am a better programmer but an Indian on my team plays dirty tricks to make us look bad in front of management.  They claim they are simply more intelligent and more hard working and the world is jealous.

I have been always careful to not place my ethnic foods in the company breakroom so that i don't offend local senses.  Now every time I walk in the break room, it smells of vindaloo curry.  Every Indian wants to save 9$ on lunch by using microwave.  The most frustrating thing is now Americans now bundle all immigrants with Indians.  This was not how it was in 90s.  The biggest victim of H1b has been the kindness and generosity of americans and we all suffer for this.

Indiots are not the most successful immigrants to America - just the most sucessful conmen and plunderers.

Can anyone name anything or any company created entirely by Indians iin the US.

Bank robbers are "successful" too.

Indians basically go where others have created success, latch on to it, take it over, and suck it dry.

Obviously, you can't generalize for ALL but here some trends I have noticed:

1. Indians think they are smarter than Americans. - Not really but maybe Indians feel so as many Indian housewives have become "software testers" in the US
2. Indians do a 180 from the the obedient, gentle, friendly persona as soon as they assume authority - well when they probably get some rights like a green card
3. I know of some people that sometimes separate resumes in two stacks -- Desi Names & Gora Names - racists ?
4. Indians think Americans are lazy and too much of a hassle to manage - in India there are no labor laws or rights
5. Indian motor-mouths habitually self-promote themselves and India - yeah they feel that they have some culture but abandon it to earn $$$
6. They discriminate against other immigrants and minorities then bitch about discrimination against them - for survival maybe
7. They are NOT all amazing scientists and brilliant minds as marketed. - less than 0.001%
8. They kiss gora ass until they get what they want - any ass
9. They make fun of 'inferior' American programmers behind their backs - self promoters all the way
10. If you keep giving these guys H1B's, half of India will show up even though India is supposed to be this wonderful paradise. (according to them) - horror if given green cards
11. As soon as they get an H1B, they drop an anchor baby - rotate them out of the US asap
12. Upon citizenship, they start making the same amount of money as Americans negating short term low-wage benefits for corporations - and invest in home countries where the returns could be higher unlike the US - 0%

Kinda surprising that the unemp. rate is only 9.1% from the BLS - should be around 30% at least and going to around 80 !!
